My name is Keith and I'm here to offer you alternatives for you technology needs. It can be very frustrating, and expensive, to figure out what is wrong with your computer, or how to do something with it. I want to change that. I am here for the average user and small businesses that have better things to do than get frustrated with computers. You don't have to empty your checkbook to get it fixed or upgraded. I believe in treating people the way I want to be treated.

I am not your normal 9 to 5 computer shop. I make my living with computers and networks. I support the computers and servers in a network at a major medical center in Cleveland, OH. I see people every day that don't know where to take their computers for helpGirl without being charged a lot of money, and they are not always pleased with the experience. I want to change that. I want to save you money. Before I begin we will talk about your computer problems in English. Most of the time the problem is evident from just talking, and I know what needs to be done. If the problem needs diagnosed it can be done in your home, or remotely, so you don't have to unplug your system and move it.

My main goal is customer satisfaction, or in other words, making you happy. Here is what I think good customer service should be.

WonderingHave you ever Wondered: "My computer just isn't as fast as it used to be. When I first got it the applications loaded fast and I could zoom around the Internet. Now it just drags."

"My computer acts as if it were possessed! What is going on?"

"We have High Speed Internet access but only one Wondering Girl computer can use it. I wish we could use it with all of our computers. Better yet, I wish I could get to the Internet from anywhere in my home from my laptop."

"Is my computer worth upgrading?"

This is where you can discover your choices. Upgrades to systems are very profitable. I am more concerned about you having a stable, fast and reliable system. Computers are suppose to be fun, not a headache! If the upgrade will be comparable to a new system then it does not take a rocket scientist to figure out which route to go. If you decide to get a new system I will give you our opinions of which ones I like. I also offer custom built systems. I encourage you to look at other systems and make the final decision. I will always be available to answer any and all questions you may have about them. Once you decide on what you would like to do I can assist you with moving your data from your current system to your new one if you would like me to.

If it is as simple as replacing a hard disk or adding memory that can be done very easily, and the cost of the parts will be what they cost me. I shop for parts as if we were buying them for myself. You will get whatever hardware warranty that comes with the part.

WindowsA lot of times it is just time to refresh the operating system, Windows in English. If the system is a few years old and has never had anything done to it then I can make it run like the day you took it out of the box. Even faster if you add a little memory or a faster hard disk!

And yet even more choices! If for some reason you don't have the money to upgrade your system, or you don't have the software that came with your computer, or even if you have "a friends" software, and are concerned about that don't worry. There is a thing out there called open source. This is simply a collection of people, huge I might add, that develops software as a group for people like you! This software can be anything from an operating system to an office suite. Even virus protection that ranks right up there with the retail brands. This entire site, the development, and the servers it is hosted on is made up of open source software. If you email, surf the Internet and write the occasional word document or keep track of things in a spread sheet Linuxthen this could be exactly what you are looking for! The best part is that it runs on older hardware, is faster than Windows, and is legal. You don't need to be a geek to use this stuff. If you can navigate in Windows you can use Linux. It's just a thought!
